Happy World Food Day! The 9th Annual Ceres Food Film Festival is officially underway: in-person in NYC from today, Thursday, through Sunday, plus ten days of virtual screenings you can enjoy from anywhere.
We’re so excited to share what we’ve been preparing since last season.

Opening Night will bring together breathtaking films, live music, and conversation about how sound shapes storytelling.
And tonight is just the beginning. With your registration for this event, you also have access to the majority of our nearly seventy documentary films screening virtually through October 26.

🎥 12:30 PM | Local Stories, Shorts Block: A celebration of flavor, culture, and community, with filmmakers in conversation led by Qiana Mickie, NYC’s Director of Urban Agriculture.
🐄 2:00 PM | Rowdy Girl : the moving true story of a Texas cattle ranch turned vegan sanctuary. Followed by a discussion with director Jason Goldman, chef Alex (The New Baguette), and Tamar Arslanian (Flirting with Vegan) on transformation, food, and compassion.
