TONIGHT | One Last Gathering @Farm to People
We have one final in-person event, and we’d love for you to join us.
Join us for our final in-person gathering of the season, in partnership with our friends at Farm to People. They’ve been with us all season, bringing gorgeous produce and inspiration to our venues. Tonight, we’ll be screening The Big Raise, a documentary following BBC journalist Alexis Rowell and his partner, Blanche Lepetit, as they leave London to build a permaculture farm and learning center in France from scratch. After the film, Martin Ping (Executive Director of Hawthorne Valley) will lead a conversation about farming, land, and community. Martin has been at Hawthorne Valley for more than 30 years, serving in roles from High School practical arts teacher to Director of Facilities, and now Executive Director.
Hawthorne Valley works to reconnect people, place, and purpose through farming, education, and community - a perfect partner for exploring life on the land!
